Documenting my journey to look back at my progression as I venture deeper and deeper into ceramics, as well as keep track of (most of) the steps each piece goes through.
An apology to screen-reader users: Sorry for not having the text descriptions ready for all the entries yet. I'll try to get through those older than August 7th 2024 as quickly as I can.
Largest bowl out of the kiln 🥳
Carved a bit too deep and had to add a couple of patches to this one 😬 Hope they'll hold during firing 🤞
Project completed! 🥳
Haul of the day! Pretty happy with the glazed one 😎
Still had time for some throwing during the session 🥳
Before / After ✨
Worked past my fear of messing this one up with the decoration and it's ready for firing (after a dip in transparent glaze at the studio) 🔥
Projects completed! 🥳
Largest bowl I've ever thrown (28cm × 16cm). A little thin and irregular at the rim a bit, but so happy with it 🥳
Once again too thin at the foot 😢 I'll get there at some point 💪
So looking forward to see how this one will fire 🤞
