Documenting my journey to look back at my progression as I venture deeper and deeper into ceramics, as well as keep track of (most of) the steps each piece goes through.
An apology to screen-reader users: Sorry for not having the text descriptions ready for all the entries yet. I'll try to get through those older than August 7th 2024 as quickly as I can.
Consistent height is... problematic so far ð
Messy business that pottery stuff ð
Not sure how the stripes appeared on that left one, but they're lovely ð
Little panda is out of the bisque kiln ðĨ
Again struggled to make them twice the same height ð Width looks OK though, so that's a good step ð
Let's keep this one to make a prototype ð
Now I've got a nice form, the tricky part is making it twice in the same proportions ðŽ
The quest for a table lamp base continues. Getting to a form I'm happy with, but so much clay at the bottom ðą
4th iteration of that little panda vase. Super happy with the expression and the taller plant this time ðž ðŠī
Particularly happy as for this one the plants are thrown rather than handbuilt. ð Took a few attempts, but that was fun to throw so small!
Projects completed! ðĨģ
